Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Damages and issues
We take great care in packing your order so it arrives safely at your door. Occasionally, damage can occur during shipping. If you have any problem with your shipment when it arrives, please contact us for a replacement or refund.

We will gladly replace your broken or damaged pottery. We will cover the new shipping charge, and get your replacement to you ASAP.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned.
We do not accept returns/exchanges on custom orders or personalized items.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
We do accept exchanges and returns on regular purchases; however, the buyer is responsible for the shipping costs to return the item(s). If it is an exchange, the buyer must also pay to re-ship the new item(s).

Sara Shearman Pottery is not responsible for damage that occurs to item(s) packed by buyers.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded through Paypal or Venmo. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
